I provide my clients with very high quality fully-digital photographic services from original image capture through all phases of production to the final delivery of the images, tailored to the client's specific needs.
My areas of specialty include all kinds of product photography with a special focus on providing images for artists and craftspersons. For these clients I provide very high-end imagery suitable for use in juried competitions for entry into art and craft shows, in addition to general advertising uses such as postcards, brochures and websites.
Original Photography
I produce high-res original digital photography shot with a Canon D5 Mark II, a 21 megapixel camera using Canon Ultrasonic lenses. Original file size is 5616 x 3744 pixels, or 12" x 18" at 300 dpi. These images are of a resolution suitable for full-page glossy reproduction or large poster-sized blow-ups.
Clients are invited to attent the shoot, by appointment. Normal turn-around time for work shipped to the studio is 3-5 working days. Rush services are generally, although not always, available.

Rights
In all cases, unless otherwise stipulated and agreed to in advance, all rights to the finished photography rest with the purchaser of my services, with the sole exception that I retain in perpetuity the right to use the finished photographic images for purposes of professional promotion, including posting the images on my website and my blog, printing them for my portfolio, and any other use I determine might effectively promote my business as a professional photographer.
Email Proofing
This is a new service! If you cannot attend the shoot but wish to be involved and can be at a phone and a computer with high-speed access, I can email proofs to you as they are shot. It's the next best thing to being there. Additional fees apply. Please see the rates page for more information.
File Formats
I can provide the finished images in whatever format you request. Unless you have different requirements, I usually provide the finished images in the following formats, delivered either on CD or DVD:
High-res tiff master files
High-res jpeg files for easier viewing
Low-res jpeg versions for ease of sending by email
Digital Show Applications
Three services are in popular use at this time, Juried Art Services, CaFE, and Zapplication. I can provide images formatted for all of these services. I can also upload the images to your Zapplication, CaFE or JAS account, and I can also format your images for specific shows which do not conform to any of the "standard" formats.
Slides
Some art and craft shows still require 35mm slides. I can provide you with digital files pre-formatted for slide reproduction. I can also order slides for you and have them sent directly to you. The service I use is www.iprintfromhhome.com.
Blow-Ups
I often recommend that artists use blow-ups in their booths. They help catch the customers' eye and bring them into the booth. The images I shoot can be easily blown up to poster size and printed on a variety of materials and substrates including foamcore, paper, vinyl and various types of fabric. The fabric prints are very bright, look great, are weather- and sun-resistant and also allow you to fold them up, making set-up and transport and tear-down much easier.
Video In Your Booth
What could be more eye-catching to your customers than large, beautiful high-res images of your work, in motion? What about video of you at work, creating your art? The mystique of craft is that it is made by hand. Let your customers see it happening, and hold their attention to your booth and your work. I can help you with every aspect, from creating still and motion images, to editing the material for the screen, and even helping with the proper hardware selection.
Print Materials
I provide full layout and design services for postcards, brochures and digital flyers. I can provide you with digital files which you can take to the printer of your choice, or I can handle the printing for you.

We have daily UPS and Fedex service, which are our preferred carriers. Please call or email to let me know a package is coming, as I am occasionally away from the studio.
Please ship insured. I prefer to bill return shipping to your Fedex or UPS account, so please furnish me with that information. I will email tracking information when I return your materials.
I will generally return your merchandise in the same packaging in which it was received.
Your work is insured against most casualties while it is in my studio, including theft, and damage. For insurance in excess of $20,000 please give me advance notice. There may be an additional fee to cover this.
